Rob Zombie hoped this film would become an instant cult-classic. Sorry, Rob, I'm not sure it is going to achieve that status as quickly as you had thought. The film was disgusting and freaky enough to view more than once, every few Halloweens, perhaps. That's about it.

We never took the initiative to see this film in it's limited theater showing, which might have given me a better impression of the film overall. It is worth renting, though. I found Zombie's real life girlfriend to be a very nice addition to the movie, she is down-right evil and quite sexy while doing so. I felt the movie reached the point of being anti-climatic and it eventually became a corpse in it's own house.
