The first time I saw this film was in a theater setting. Now, writing this review after seeing it on digital cable ... I still think it is a decent flick. John Malkovich plays a believeable mob mini-boss and his deception is entertaining.

I think the film lacks when it finally ties things together, almost in an instant, like the main character is so smart -- when, really, his character is dumb as a friggin' rock. Good ol' Vin benefits this movie by pouring his trademark can of whoop-ass into the mix, for good measure.
